brenner and bailey's digital circus
hello everybody
just wanted to let you know that jon brenner and I will be trying out some new material in two performances this sunday (feb 22nd) and next wednesday (feb 25th).
both of these shows are going to be a bit different than usual. since last may’s performance of the requiem for a high homicide enclave i have been using a wide variety of digital controllers in performance and this is our first big step in figuring out what works in front of a live audience. both shows are going to be laid back and probably similar to watching a comedian work out new material.
over the last four months jon and i have rehearsed a wide variety of music and will be performing a pretty eclectic evening; deconstructions of satie and NIN pieces, reworkings of jon’s prism and my myinnersatan as well as new piece written specifically for this duet; postwhatever.
we are really looking forward to both these nights and hope to see you there.
